St. Paul’s Catholic School sent a very enthusiastic and well-prepared team of students to the Chippewa County Wisconsin Conservation and Environmental Awareness Speaking Contest on Monday, October 5th at the Chippewa Falls Middle School. These students researched, wrote, and refined their speaking skills for the past few weeks in order to prepare themselves. During the contest they competed with other local 4-H and school groups and spoke on topics related to conserving our environment. St. Paul’s contestants were: 5th grade: Adeline Frank (representing Woodmohr 4H Club), 6th grade: Alex Poirier & Makendal Kempe; 7th grade: Zach Steinmetz, Bryce Zwiefelhofer, & Emily LaGesse, 8th grade: Abigale Wolf, Vanessa Jenneman, & Blake Ruff. Wonderful job everyone!

A special congratulations to Vanessa Jenneman. Vanessa placed 2nd in the Junior Division.
